Everyone expected that ‘Aravindha Sametha’ would set box-office on fire making the most of the Dusheera holidays. Many big numbers about its collections for two weeks were revealed by the producers, social media gang and a section of Tollywood trade. The month of October has come to an end and by the final reports many distributors in Andhra Pradesh are not happy.
Luckily, producer Dil Raju who bought the movie’s rights for Nizam area has recovered the money as the film officially crossed Rs 18.75 Cr. He bought the movie for Rs 17 Cr. So he is making slight profits on this investment. But the film that has Rayalaseema faction theme has not performed on expected lines. The Ceded distributor will be losing more than Rs 2 Cr on investment. The biggest loser would be Uttarandhra distributor as the film has under-performed here for various reasons. The distributor in East Godavari is also losing heavily. In other areas, it has reached barely break-even stage. Though the film’s overall share is highest in NTR’s career, it has left some distributors in losses.
