AR Murugadoss, director of ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Spyder’, has finally agreed that his story of ‘Sarkar’ and the theme of writer K V Rajendra’s script are similar in certain ways. “Sarkar” is an upcoming movie from Murugadoss featuring Vijay and Keerthy Suresh. After denying the charges of plagiarism for days, Murugadoss now admits that the writer Rajendra imagined exactly like him and registered the same at Writer’s Association.
In a video statement poster on Twitter, AR Murugadoss said the story is similar but his entire script is different. However, he congratulated the Writer’s Association for identifying a talented colleague to the cinema world. His entire statements prove that he is guilty of lifting the basic idea. Just to enable the smooth release of ‘Sarkar’, he has compromised with the writer and stopped fighting legally. He has faced such cases in the past as well and there have been accusations that Murugadoss steals story ideas and copies from other movies.
