AR Rahman is reportedly offered to be the music director of Megastar Chiranjeevi upcoming magnum opus ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’. But because of the reasons that are best known to him, AR Rahman opted out of the project. He is undoubtedly one of the most renowned music directors in the Indian film history. His amazing talent made him get honored with not just one but two Oscar Awards. Starting his career in South, he is also proving his talent in Hollywood as well. But the interesting thing is none of the Telugu movies which he gave music for became hits.
Initially, he gave music for ‘Super Police’ movie which became a flop. Then he worked as the music director for ‘Nani’, ‘Komaram Puli’ movies which also ended up as disasters. After that, he hasn’t worked in Tollywood. After much gap he was supposed to work in ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ but got dropped himself due to unrevealed reasons. He claimed that he was jam-packed with his schedules. But in reality he was just scoring music for a few small movies in Tamil. After rejecting Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, AR Rahman is giving music for his nephew G V Prakash Kumar’s upcoming movie. Currently he is working in Tamil star hero Vijay’s upcoming film. The duo has already collaborated for ‘Mersal’ movie which ended up as the biggest blockbuster. Now, AR Rahman is also giving music for Vijay’s upcoming movie ‘Sarkar’ under the direction of AR Murugadoss. However, so many speculations about AR Rahman are doing rounds in the industry as he rejected a big offer from Chiru.
