At box office, it is difficult for even a star to consistently deliver big opening day figures, despite genre of the film and the buzz that it generates. Happening Rowdy hero Vijay Devarakonda started a new journey into Kollywood with the latest film NOTA. The film is said to be a political drama and it released yesterday worldwide. The openings are grand in the Telugu states but it looks like the occupancy in theatres might not be the same as the first day on Saturday and Sunday considering the negative talk for the film.
The first day of the movie stood at Rs. 7.45 crores (share) from Worldwide. It is bigger than Nag and Nani’s multi-starrer, Devadas first day that stood at Rs. 6.85 crores. The movie doesn’t have a huge positive talk and we have to see how it will perform in coming days.
